Rakitić was born on March 10, 1988, in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, where he grew up and started playing football. However, he always wanted to play for Croatia and later became a football legend for the country.

He played 323 official games for Sevilla, 310 for Barcelona, ​​over 100 for Schalke 04, and played for Basel to start his professional career. In the second part of last season, he moved from Sevilla to Saudi Al-Shabab, with whom he terminated his contract to join Hajduk, where he will wear the number 11 jersey.
