November the 5th, 2024 – The Financial Times (FT) has listed the Croatian company Spegra among those companies with the highest long-term growth.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian company Spegra specialises in rehabilitation works and special technological procedures. This domestic construction company was impressively included among the most successful European companies in the Financial Times’ list of 300 companies with the highest long-term growth.
The Croatian company Spegra performs intense rehabilitation works on both infrastructure and commercial buildings. It was founded 35 years ago, and since then has achieved notable results in the restoration of key historical and infrastructure buildings. These include the Temple of Jupiter in Split, Krk Bridge, the Hvar Arsenal, Jadranski most (Adriatic Bridge) the famed Stari most (Old Bridge) in Mostar, the bridges in Nin, and the Zagreb Cathedral.
The list compiled jointly by the Financial Times and Statista, in the first edition of “Long-Term Growth Champions”, recognises companies that have managed to maintain their revenue growth despite the challenging economic circumstances across Europe over the last ten years. According to the Financial Times, the average revenue of the companies on the list back in 2013 stood at two million euros, while by 2023, this average reached a massive 29 million euros, which is a very clear indicator of stable and sustainable growth.
“When we first started out with Spegra, we could hardly imagine that the Financial Times would ever write about us, but with hard work, day by day, year by year, we’ve finally experienced it. Everything we do is out of love for the profession, and especially for Croatia’s enormous cultural heritage. It’s also out of the desire to preserve it all for future generations. This is also a firm recognition for all our employees whose expertise and dedication are the basis of Spegra’s success and longevity,” said the Croatian company Spegra’s founder Berislav Borovina.
