As promised, we are still monitoring the promotion of the Croatian products in Split’s most popular tourist location – the Riva.
The display in one of the most attractive sites in the beautiful city of Split, the one and only Riva, is still showcasing foreign goods. On April 19, 2016, we visited the store and found that the most of the display is filled with Croatian products, but once again there were bottles of Jack Daniel’s there as well as Hennessy Cognac.
We will approach this subject from another angle this time, and will not even speak about the lack of logic behind promoting foreign products under the “Best Of Croatia” sign. One has to wonder about the quality of the product stored behind the glass in one of the sunniest sites in Croatia.
As the writer of this article has the utmost respect for high-quality spirits, one cannot avoid thinking of the taste coming out the bottle stored in these conditions. As there was a respond to our first article about the matter, because more Croatian products were showcased in the display after it was published, we plead to the store manager to save the respected spirits from the heat they are exposed at the moment.
If we are to be heard, maybe replacing them with more Croatian products would be a good idea too.
