Another important recognition for the Croatian winery.
Paolo Basso, the world’s best sommelier in 2013, chose 66 wineries that stand out with the quality of their architecture and design, reports Jutarnji List on June 5, 2016.
Of course, the choice of grape varieties, methods of production and nurturing of wines, and finally the taste and the quality of the end product is usually the main criterion by which we evaluate wineries. However, their architecture and decoration of the rooms where the wine is produced, preserved and presented to visitors can also be a very important factor that will contribute to the status and image of a wine cellar.
The Kozlović winery, as the only one from Croatia, found itself in a distinguished company of 66 international wineries which were included by Paolo Basso, the best sommelier in the world for 2013, in his prestigious collection “Sommeliers Heaven – The Greatest Wine Cellars of the World”.
It is a trilingual, luxuriously designed book that aims to present on more than 300 pages the commitment and love that the selected wineries and wine cellars from around the world show with their architecture and focus on every detail. The book has been published by the Swiss publishing house Braun Publishing.
