HRT concludes its polls of ten parliamentary constituency.
On Friday evening, Croatian Radio Television (HRT) published polls for the first and the fourth constituency, concluding the polls of all ten parliamentary constituencies ahead of parliamentary elections next Sunday.
At last year’s elections in the fourth constituency (northern Slavonia), HDZ coalition won 36.0 percent of votes, followed by SDP coalition (29.2 percent), HDSSB (11.6 percent), MOST (10.7 percent), and Živi Zid (4.9 percent). HDZ coalition won 6 seats in Parliament, SDP coalition 5 seats, HDSSB 2 seats, and MOST 1 seat.
According to the poll, HDZ leads with 33.0 percent (7 seats), followed by SDP coalition (24.2 percent; 5 seats), MOST (7.1 percent; 1 seat), HDSSB (5.4 percent; 1 seat), and Živi Zid (3.9 percent; no seats)
According to the RTL poll of the fourth constituency released last week, HDZ would win 6 seats, SDP coalition 5 seats, HDSSB 2 seats, and MOST 1 seat.
HRT also conducted a poll of the first constituency (centre of Zagreb and part of Zagreb County). At last year’s elections, SDP coalition won 39.2 percent of voters (7 seats), followed by HDZ coalition (26.0 percent; 4 seats), MOST (18.4 percent; 3 seats), Bandić Milan 365 Party (4.6 percent; no seats), and Živi Zid (3.4 percent; no seats).
Now, SDP coalition leads with 34.7 percent of votes (7 seats); followed by HDZ (22.8 percent; 4 seats); MOST (9.6 percent; 2 seats), Živi Zid (5.2 percent; 1 seat), Bandić Milan 365 Party (3.0 percent; no seats), and Pametno Party (3.0 percent; no seats)
After HRT polls conducted in all ten constituencies, the 140 seats in Parliament would be distributed as follows: SDP coalition 61 seats, HDZ 56 seats, MOST 13 seats, Živi Zid 6 seats, IDS 3 seats and HDSSB 1 seat. Compared to last elections, SDP has five seats more, Živi Zid has five seats more, HDZ has the same number of seats, MOST has six seats less, Reformist Party/ Bandić Milan Party has three seats less, and HDSSB has one seat less.
In addition, HDZ can expect to win three more seats from Croatian nationals living abroad. National minorities will elect eight MPs in the special twelfth constituency. The total number of MPs is 151, and it takes 76 MPs to form a majority.
