Ryanair, the low cost airline in Europe, presented the 2017 summer program for flights originating in Copenhagen. Four new destinations have been added, including direct flights to Pescara, Thessaloniki, Valencia and Zadar.
Ryanair reports that these new routes are expected to translate over 2.5 million passengers, and provide 1,900 jobs in Copenhagen in accordance with a 5% increase in traffic.
Zadar is expected to be associated with Copenhagen twice a week during the summer, creating yet another great boost in tourism for Zadar and the coast of Croatia. Otherwise, the Copenhagen route links a total of 18 destinations, including cities such as Brussels, Madrid, London and others.
“We are pleased to launch our biggest ever Copenhagen S 2017 schedule, which includes 4 new routes to Pescara, Thessaloniki, Valencia & Zadar, which will deliver 2.5 million customers p.a. and support 1,900 jobs at Copenhagen Airport, as we grow our operation by 5%,” said Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair. He also added that customers can expect even lower prices for summer 2017.
“Customers can look forward to even lower fares for summer 2017, as our recent guidance confirmed, we expect average fares to fall by between 10% to 12% in the 6 months to March 2017.
