The International Federation of Football History & Statistics announced their list of best coaches and selectors for 2016, with Croatian Ante Čačić in excellent seventh place
To recall, the Croatian selector has only lost one game in this calendar year, to Portugal after an uncanny goal in overtime, with only Hungary, Czech Republic and Turkey avoiding defeat by Croatia with plenty of luck. Impressive triumphs will be remembered, especially the one against Spain at the Euro, but also in November against Iceland in World Championship Qualifiers, Tportal reported on December 27, 2016.
Excellent results by Ante Čačić with the Croatian national team have now been officially rewarded, as the renowned International Federation of Football History & Statistics named him the seventh best selector in the world.
Above Ante are in first place Portuguese selector Fernando Santos, as well as Lagerback, Löw, Coleman, Deschamps and Conte.
The list of best coaches was also announced, with first place going to Diego Simeone, ahead of Zinedine Zidane and Claudio Raineri.
