Zagreb street art goes international.
Lonac is a talented Croatian street artist who shot to fame following the popularity of his striking photo-realistic murals that can be seen throughout Croatia and beyond.
The Zagreb based creative was recently invited to West Palm Beach in Florida to take part in the Canvas Festival. The non-profit organisation states it is dedicated to funding the visual arts and an innovative artist in residence program aimed at enriching the community through public installations, exhibitions and events to foster social and economic outcomes.
While many of his head-turning pieces can be found in his hometown of Zagreb, Lonac has made himself known throughout Europe with various ingenious murals, and was deservedly featured in Widewalls’ annual list of the world’s best murals, for his truly outstanding piece in Rijeka, titled ”Nitpicking”.
