After over a month of Advent in Split, today we say goodbye to our festive fair. While most of the Christmas houses have already packed up and said their goodbyes, you can still enjoy what’s left of the kućice in Split!
Three kućice are currently defying the cold on the Riva, giving those brave windy weather warriors their last chance at holiday goods.
Kućice Lavanda, Fritule, and Lička Kuća are the remaining houses left on the final day of Advent, standing amongst those that have already dismantled and packed away their equipment for the next winter season, reports Dalmatinski Portal on January 7, 2017.
“We’ll stay on the waterfront to the end, this temperature for us is like Lika spring, so this temperature will not hinder us from staying open,” said Zrinka Filipovic Dermit from Lička Kuća, whose specialties were enjoyed by the mayor of Split himself, Ivo Baldasar.
For the closing evening of music, you can enjoy Festivo on the Riva and the Harpoon Blues Band on Marmontova.
