Advent in Split: T-5 Days Until Blast-Off

The Christmas Fair in Split (also known to many as Advent or “Kućice”) will last even longer this year, and the best part? It begins in just 5 days.

In less than a week, the famous Advent in Split will kick-off with houses lined on the riva, in fruit square (Voćni trg), Prokurative and Pjaca, announces Dalmacija News.

This year’s homes will be kept at these locations for a bit longer than in the previous years…

This year, Split’s Advent will begin on 26 November, and citizens of Split and their guests will be entertained by the famous markets until 7 January next year.  

Commemorative souvenirs, jewelry, ornaments, and all the crafts you could dream up will present themselves to you with holiday cheer. And let’s not forget, perhaps most importantly, are the markets that serve up a variety of delicacies, fritters, and mulled wine that marry perfectly together with the numerous music programs and much, much more.
