Žnjan would be totally transformed if this proposal is accepted…
The Zagreb Faculty of Architecture have drafted a proposal for Žnjan’s new look, and we must admit, they have suggested some big changes.
In their proposal, the new plan for Žnjan would do away with all of the objects (cafes) lined along the coast. Instead, the Zagreb Faculty of Architecture would implement a water park, seaside promenade, football pitch, handball and tennis courts, bike paths, skate park, playgrounds, and about 2,000 square meters of catering facilities and cafes above the beach promenade. There would also be a parking lot with nearly 600 spaces, reports Dalmatinski Portal and Slobodna Dalmacija on March 23, 2017.
The plan would be divided into zones which include sports and recreation, catering and entertainment, water park, and swimming areas/beaches. The costs would amount to about 30 million kuna.
