Asparagus Days in Dubrovnik Begins Next Weekend

”Asparagus is sweetest in spring” is a saying used by several publications and experts on food. If you’re in Dubrovnik this month – why not see for yourself?

From hard boiled eggs, to octopus salad, to omelettes to natural remedies for the urinary system – asparagus is without a doubt one of the most useful, biologically beneficial and diverse vegetables in existence.

Thanks to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, we can announce that from the 7th to the 9th of this month, you can get your hands on fresh, local asparagus which grows locally and is harvested in and around the Dubrovnik area. For three days, numerous Dubrovnik restaurants will come together in celebration of this natural wonder of the vegetable world and a great many dishes which involve it will be available.
