Construction of New Airport Tram Service to Start in Autumn

Project documentation for the new tram which will take passengers from Kvaternikov trg to Velika Gorica, including a stop at Franjo Tudjman Airport, was signed and the starting point of the new tram line was officially marked at Kvaternikov trg earlier today.

This means that, in addition to the existing 290 bus service, the passengers will have another inexpensive option to reach the airport. The tram will pass through Heinzelova, along Radnička cesta, cross Domovinski most and end in Velika Kosnica. A 23-kilometre cycling lane will also be built next to the tram.
