The Latinsko Idro (Latin sail) is an international sailing regatta held every year since 1998 in the waters of Murter Island to celebrate Saint Mihovil. Any ship with this type of sail can participate.
Latinsko Idro is more than a ship or sail, a regatta or a tourism event… It is a reminder of a lifestyle, an exceptional space, a spiritual world. It is a synthesis of all activities, knowledge and craft, sailing skills and temptations, spirit and belief, everything that went on in this wonderful area. At the centre point of everything was the ship. Nothing was possible here without it and its sails.
