The classical pianist Paolo Restani is performing in Dubrovnik on 23 May

The famous pianist Paolo Restani will perform with Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, 23 May, reports Glas Grada.

The Italian pianist is known for his successful international career, during which he played at the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Grosser Musikvereinsaal in Vienna, Konzerthaus in Berlin, and Prinzregententheater in Műnchen. He debuted at the age of 16 at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, setting off to become a star in the world of classical music. He performed numerous shows with some of the best known orchestras in Europe, the US, South America and Australia, and makes regular appearances at prestigious festivals all over the world.

This is the first time the audience in Dubrovnik will get a chance to see Restani perform live, starting at 9 PM in the Museum of Modern Art. The programme includes ‘Idyll’ by Croatian composer Blagoje Bersa and Schubert’s Symphony No.3 in D major, while the pianist is playing a solo as part of Liszt’s Malédiction, also known as Concerto for Piano and Strings.

Tickets can be purchased in the Orchestra office from 9 AM to 2 PM, as well as an hour before the show.
