Five places to go in Zagreb, as recommended by the New York Times
After being named the best destination in Europe by Lonely Planet a few days ago, another important global institution recognised Zagreb as a destination not to be missed – the New York Times.
The author Anja Mutic recommends visitors go to Marticeva, an up-and-coming neighbourhood and the “creative hub of the Croatian capital.” One of the most important creative events happening in Marticeva, Design District, is also mentioned as one of the crucial events in this cool street.
The list is very diverse and the places include Noel restaurant, Sheriff & Cherry eyewear shop, Oris House of Architecture, Garderoba clothing store and Mr. Fogg – the first steampunk bar in Zagreb.
