Sailing lessons are open to all admirers of this sport
The Šibenik marina D-Marin Mandalina will organise sailing lessons for all those interested. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of the sport from skippers and will be guided by professional skippers from the Sailing Club Val from Šibenik, on four J70 sailboats.
“I look forward to providing an opportunity for all enthusiasts to learn the basics – beginner’s knowledge and the skills needed for this sport. We want to offer sailing lessons as a novelty in our offer, but also contribute to further popularisation of sailing,” said Selcuk Balci, director of the D-Marin Mandalina marina.
Sailing lessons are open to all admirers of this sport, who will then be able to choose a shorter lesson of two hours, or a day-long course which needs at least five participants. The basic, shorter lesson needs at least two participants. D-Marin Mandalina will also soon offer specialised packages of sailing lessons, through various excursions in the Šibenik area.

The Val Sailing Club was founded in 1928, making it the second oldest sports club in Šibenik. It currently has around 300 members.
