If you haven’t heard of Split’s sexiest cocktail establishment yet, don’t fret – today we introduce you to Noor.
Split over the last few years has experienced somewhat of a booze-boom, and the emergence of craft beer and craft cocktails has formed an intoxicating revolution in the city.
With more and more bartenders experimenting with unique flavors and ingredients to muster up inventive cocktails for their guests, the city of Split is becoming recognized as respectable drinking territory.
The ultimate respect, however, must be paid to Noor, a classy new craft-cocktail establishment in an ancient Split alleyway opposite popular restaurant Mazzgoon.
Noor, which is Mazzgoon’s sister setup, just recently opened their doors to enthusiasts of fine spirits and cocktails, inviting guests into their haven to find the “dark side of the light.”
Led by Mazzgoon’s Sara and Toni Vrsalović, Noor’s cocktails are carefully crafted by mixologist Jan Martinović – and expert mixologist Chris Edwards is said to have offered his prowess to ensure every piece of the cocktail puzzle fit just right.
Boasting over 150 spirits and liquors and 20 signature cocktails, Noor embraces cocktail creativity which can be seen in many of their original creations.
Menu standouts such as the Strawberry and Balsamic Mojito, Bourbollini, and Mezcallian all burst with a combination of flavors, taking your taste buds on a rollercoaster ride from savory and sweet to smokey with each sip.
Noor even offers a unique menu item titled “The Origin of 12 Steps,” taking those eager to try it all on a spirit-filled adventure.
Having already participated in Zagreb’s Cocktail Week, Noor will have a presence at London Cocktail Week later this year, further proving just how serious and ambitious the cocktail connoisseurs behind Noor are.
While we admit that Noor has quickly become our favorite place to escape in the Old Town, we’re confident that marking Noor on the top of your list of things to do is a decision you will not regret.
Noor is located at Bajamontijeva 2 and is open from 18:00-02:00 every day.
