Most parts of Croatia have seen a raging storm around 7 PM today, June 25. After a long scorching day, thunderstorms with torrential rain took beach-goers by surprise in Istria, Kvarner, wider Zagreb area and East Croatia.
The temperatures dropped a few degrees, bringing a welcome relief after a sweltering week. As Index reports, we can expect more rain on Monday in some parts of the country. From Tuesday onward, we’re back to the sunny days and hellish heat we witnessed last week.
Weekend of July 1-2 could bring some changes again, according to the Meteorological and Hydrological Service that announced heavy rain on Saturday both on the coast and the mainland. Temperatures might drop by 10 degrees, resulting in a maximum daily temperature of 25 degrees.
