Because who wouldn’t want to enjoy 74 days of music this summer?
Good holidays in Dalmatia are not just about frying in the sun and swimming in the sea – you can enjoy a 74-day music series “Evo ruke” in Split!
Led by Revija Urbane KulturE – Evo ruke is a unique program in Split that was created four years ago by Stivi Vuckovic, transforming Đardin into the ultimate fair of jazz, blues and rock’n’roll in the summer, reports Glas.ba on June 28, 2017.
At “Evo Ruke“ (translated to “here’s a hand”) guests will not encounter the big music stars of Croatia, but will have the opportunity to experience an open-air club atmosphere while discovering the local bands of the region.
This year, the program starts on Thursday, June 29th and lasts until September 10th, with a series of 74 concerts ranging from various genres of music, compositions, and thematic evenings. And the best part? Entrance is free!
Although the organizers have yet to publish the full concert calendar, the opening concert will be led by the legendary Vedran Bozic with and his Rock Masters, who have arranged a thematic concert called “Blues Planet Hendrix”.
The following two evenings will see Split-Kaštela’s Jukebox for the program ‘Doček pola Nove godine’’, and on Sunday, July 1st, Đardin will see Americana band 058.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to experience the best local bands in the region! More information to follow.
