The Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Administration is set to continue with international police co-operation for the project “Safe Tourism Season” this summer.
As DuList reported on the 9th of July, 2017, foreign police officers are set to join local police in keeping things in order in the Pearl of the Adriatic this summer season.
For twelve years now, the Ministry of the Interior has been conducting the project in different police administrations along the Adriatic coast. The idea was welcomed by the Chief of Dubrovnik-Neretva County’s Police Administration, Tonći Radibratović, emphasising the positive experiences that have been enjoyed during this friendly cooperation in the past. It was stressed that the number of tourists in the wider Dubrovnik-Neretva County area is increasing each year, and that one of the most important priorities of the Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Administration remains to maintain the status of a safe and secure tourist area.
Thus, during July and August, eleven foreign police officers from Italy, Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro, together with their Croatian counterparts, will work at Dubrovnik’s police station, Gruda police station and the Dubrovnik Maritime police station.
