Croatia Airlines is introducing cheaper tickets for travellers with hand luggage only.
As of July 27, 2017, Croatia Airlines passengers will be able to travel cheaper if they only have cabin baggage on them, the carrier announced on their Facebook yesterday.
The new option is called FlyEasy and it’s similar to what low-cost airliner offer – you are only entitled to one piece of cabin baggage (8 kg), but your ticket is cheaper.
This is the fourth addition to Croatia Airlines fare family, other members being FlyOpti, which has been the cheapest option up to now, FlyFlexi, and FlyBizz.
If you change your mind and buy a FlyEasy ticket, but want to add a checked bag, your first bag (23 kg, 115 cm) will be charged HRK 80 (VAT not included) per direction within Croatia, and €30 for international flights.
The new service has not yet been made available on mobile/website application, but it is available on Croatia Airlines website, via their Contact Centre, and in any sales office.
If you change your mind about adding a bag, you can do so anytime before the flight, except on the website, where you can do it no later than 2 hours before take-off.
