The Philadelphia 76ers played 15 games in December which saw Šarić play on the court for 14 of them. Though the Sixers secured only five wins and an unfortunate ten defeats in the last month of 2017, the year ended on a winning note – giving the team hope as they enter the new year. Philadelphia has celebrated in four of the last five games, and our Croatian representative has recorded great numbers.

Just before the New Year, Šarić was named the ‘Player of the Game’ for the Sixers after he was the best shooter in the game against the Nuggets. That game, Šarić achieved 20 baskets, nine jumps, six assists and one block and led the Sixers in their biggest comeback of the season. They were down 14-points to the Nuggets, after all.
The Sixers coach even had some nice words to say about Dario.
"The team loves him. With his broken English and his big heart, there is a fondness that we all have for Dario and a respect we all have."
