Could a delivery service be in the works for McDonalds Croatia?
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 1st of February, 2018, the internationally known American fast food chain McDonalds plans to invest approximately 2.4 billion dollars in capital and open up to 1,000 new restaurants across the world in 2018, according to McDonald’s Financial Director Kevin Ozan.
One of the most popular American brands, which through the franchise also operates in several locations here in the Republic of Croatia, earned 5.34 billion dollars in the fourth quarter last year, which is more than the expectations of analysts, who predicted a 5.26 billion dollar sum. The American company’s global expansion includes the opening of three more new restaurants in Croatia.
In the business year behind us, the American fast food giant has arrived to its 12th town of operations in Croatia, Slavonski Brod, opening the 29th McDonalds restaurant in Croatia. This year, the company has started the final phase of digitisation and restoration of the restaurant, which allows guests to experience the most modern way of ordering food and drink.
“We’re also thinking about expanding the offer by introducing a delivery service, and we believe guests will be able to feel all the improvements we’ve made when they first arrive at McDonalds,” stated Pavel Pavliček, Director of McDonalds Croatia.
