Dubrovnik, Pula, Split, Zadar, Zagreb: Latest Flight news from Croatia

February 20, 2018 – The latest flight news roundup to and from Croatia’s airports. 

Yet one more Ryanair route for Zadar, as Memmingen will become the sixth German city to connect to the former Dalmatian capital this summer with the low-cost Irish carrier. Ryanair will operate three flights a week from Memmingen to Zadar, commencing May 10 until October 27.

Good news for Bulgarian tourists with some selected pre and post-season flights to Croatia with Bulgarian Air Charter. Three routes are offered, Sofia and Varna in pre-season and Varna to Pula in September and October.

There will also be more options for Spanish tourists coming from Madrid to Croatia this summer, as Iberia has announced an increase in its operations to Dubrovnik, Split and Zagreb. Full details here.

“The overhaul of Dubrovnik Airport’s runway and taxiways is progressing and on schedule to meet its mid-March deadline. The work, which began in December of last year, is part of the second phase of a multi million euro development project that will enhance the airport’s handling capacity to approximately 3.98 million passengers per year. Other airside improvements will include the construction of two new rapid exit taxiways, the expansion of the western apron, as well as the construction of a new commercial aviation apron on the western side, a new east apron for general aviation and the development of aircraft maintenance and operation facilities, in addition to hangars.
