Need your fix of Croatia’s southernmost city? Dubrovnik’s live cameras have some new locations…
As Morski writes on the 8th of April, 2018, LiveCam Croatia is a system which, up to now, has 299 live cameras across the Republic of Croatia, allowing all those suffering with their pangs of summertime nostalgia to get their fix of various parts of the coast.
The Pearl of the Adriatic has added some new live camera locations to its list via the latest HD webcam technology. The beautiful Banje beach (formerly East-West) in Dubrovnik with a view on both sides, as well as Mlini, a small coastal settlement in nearby Župa Dubrovačka (Psrish of Dubrovnik), now have live HD cameras set up for anyone needing to technologically, if not physically, transport themselves to these gorgeous southern Dalmatian locations.
Banje beach is heavily frequented throughout the year, particularly during the summer when tourists flock to this city beach in order to get cool. Banje is perfectly positioned geographically, located just a few minutes walk from the UNESCO protected Old Town, offering a truly beautiful view onto the city walls, the sparkling Adriatic sea, the mountains, and the uninhabited, dazzlingly green island of Lokrum, located a mere 600 metres from Dubrovnik’s shoreline.
Mlini is a much smaller, generally residential settlement a few miles outside of the City of Dubrovnik, characterised by rolling karst moutains and flanked by the sea, Mlini is becoming ever more popular with those seeking a somewhat less busy area to stay in when visiting the Pearl of the Adriatic.
