ZAGREB, May 27, 2018 – The European Stroke Organisation (ESO) has awarded two Zagreb hospitals for the quality of acute stroke care – the Sveti Duh hospital has been awarded a platinum status and the KB Dubrava hospital a gold status.
The awards are part of the ESO ANGELS campaign, aimed at improving care for acute stroke patients, and among the many competing European hospitals there were 12 from Croatia.
Last year, one Croatian hospital won a gold status for the quality of stroke care.
ESO is a pan-European organisation bringing together and educating medical professionals and national and regional associations with the aim of advancing care for stroke patients.
