ZAGREB, May 28, 2018 – Croatia’s industrial turnover fell by 3.1% in March 2018 compared with the previous month and by 8.1% compared with March 2017, according to figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
In March 2018, compared with February 2018, industrial turnover decreased by 1.6% on the domestic market and by 2.2% on the foreign market, while compared with March 2017 it shrank by 4.6% on the domestic market and increased by 14.7% on the foreign market.
Compared with February 2018, energy sales dropped by 40.9% and capital goods sales by 2.4%, while consumer durables sales increased by 10.8%, consumer non-durables sales by 2.6% and intermediate goods sales by 2.5%.
Compared with March 2017, energy sales contracted by 59% and capital goods sales by 24.2%, while consumer durables sales rose by 9.2%, consumer non-durables by 3.1% and intermediate goods sales by 1.2%.
