The 18-kilometer long recreational bicycle tour will drive through the main streets of Dugopolje towards the western part of the municipality or the settlement Koprivno.
On Saturday, May 19th from 14:00, the third spring bicycle tour, organized by the Tourist Board of the Dugopolje Municipality and the Timun Bicycle Club of Split, will be held!
Recreational bicycle tours, as well as the road cycling races of international character that have been organized over the years, are only part of the story of the development of bicycle tourism in Dugopolje and the Inland Dalmatia municipalities in general. This year in Dugopolje, two cycling retreats will be held, and the Municipality of Dugopolje will introduce a public system of electric and classic bicycles with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, which will also be used by the local population and tourists who visit Inland Dalmatia every year.
The recreational bicycle race, which is about 18 kilometers long, will drive through the main streets of Dugopolje to the western part of the municipality or the settlement of Koprivno. In Koprivno, there will be a small break for refreshments and cyclists will go back to Dugopolje via the economic zone Podi west and continue to Ul. Domovinskog rata. The return to the Fire Department is planned for about 16:30.
The start and finish of the bicycle tour will be at the Fire Department at Sv. Mihovila 35. Cycling begins at 14:00, and there will be a reception at the end for all participants.
TZ Dugopolje and BK Timun thank all residents of Dugopolje and Koprivna for their patience and understanding since the roads on the bike path will be closed for traffic during the tour.
