Dugopolje First Half Marathon – 21km of the Dalmatian Hinterland

On Saturday, September 24, the very first Dugopolje half marathon will take place. A 5 kilometer city race will take place at the same time.

The race will begin at 17h, kicking off at the SC “Croatian Knights” (SC ”Hrvatski vitezovi”) Podi-Dugopolje stadium.

 

The tourist board of Dugopolje, in cooperation with Marathon Club “Marjan” from Split and Jakovom Teklićem, a marathon organization from Solin, have organized the first Dugopolje half marathon. The race will set off into the Dalmatian hinterland for 21 kilometers, running through the streets of Dugopolje for two rounds of about 10.5 kilometers. Within the marathon there will also be a 5 kilometer race for those who wish to participate.

 

This sporting event is organized as part of the celebration of the municipality of Dugopolje and the feast of “Sv. Mihovila and Jeronima”, the patron saints of the municipality of Dugopolje.

 

The start and finish for the race will be at the football stadium SC ” Croatian knights ” in the economic zone Podi-Dugopolje.
