The Equestrian Gallop Club (KGK) Alkar Sinj continues with the long-standing tradition and re-organize the traditional gallop races on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Hippodrome in Sinj. This year there will be three races, from which one a traditional race called Alase, where the horses owned by local breeders participate in the competition.
The third race will be held in honor of the recently deceased mayor of Sinj, late Ivica Glavan. Mayor Glavan has provided generous support to the KGK Alkar and we will be expressing our gratitude for all he has done for the club to be able to continue in his existence after almost 50 years in Sinj.
The opening ceremony program, which will be magnified by the excellent Sinj Majorettes and begins at 15:00 and at 15:30 is the start of the first race. The next two races will be at 16:30 and 17:30. With a special cultural program, a wide range of food and drinks, for the ticket cost of 10kn per person, the visitors will be participating in the prize lottery and the lucky winner can win 500 kg of grapes.
