The sights of the city of Sinj and the Cetina region was visited by students from AIESEC last week.
Following the collaboration with the world’s largest student organization AIESEC, the city of Sinj, on 21 September 2017, as part of an agreement with the Tourist Board of Sinj, welcomed students from all over the world. The students included Ema Anghelescu from Romania, Chan Eron Yik Lung from Hong Kong, Rachel Zhan from China, Kristina Grishina from the Czech Republic, Kyriaki Daskaloudi from Greece, Necdet Tüylü from Turkey, Santiago Gerardo Garza Loya from Mexico and Sara Fattahi from Iran.
The purpose of their arrival was to contribute and write blogs about the tourist offer and potential of the City of Sinj and the Cetina region. Their contributions to the city of Sinj will be published on various social networks and blogger portals. This form of promotion has proven to be useful for all young tourists who are targeted to the destinations that are interesting and appealing to them.
To show them as much as possible, and to exhibit the authenticity and tourist potential of Sinj and the Cetina region, the students visited the Shrine of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj, many Sinj Monuments, the city fortress, and the Sinjska Alka Museum.
For the promotion of cyclotourism, with the expert help of Ivana Bašić from BK Kamešnica, the students visited the sources of Ruda, Ovrlja, and Kosinca. After completing the cycling tour of the river Cetina River and enjoying the natural beauties of the Cetina region, the students watched the Alkarsko ergel accompanied by Mirko Penić, and in the evening they attended the concert of the Zagreb Gitaric Trio in the Alka courtyard.
