A rock and roll band from Sinj has been given the opportunity of a lifetime!
Punk and blues band MORT from Sinj will perform as the opening act for British rock legends The Cult! The concert will be held at Šalata in Zagreb on June 27, 2017, reports ferata.hr on June 20, 2017.
“The agency that we work with, the Los Angeles Agency, is organizing the concert, as well as the Prophets of Rage show to be held the day before. We’re big fans of Prophets and we are definitely going to that concert, too. When we heard about both the Prophets and The Cult playing in Zagreb, we tried to get on as the opening act for one of two of the shows, and since the first concert’s opening slot was filled, we were able to get scheduled for the second. We are always happy to perform before an audience we have not played to yet. We will try to present ourselves in the best light, and we hope to have more gigs outside of Croatia,” said MORT bassist Jakov Maleš Kikos.
In addition to the concert at Šalata, the members of MORT will spend the summer playing shows every weekend throughout Croatia and the region. The band will perform in Sinj on August 12th.
In addition to MORT, Zagreb band Hard Time will also perform as the opening act for The Cult.
