April 8, 2019 – The City of Trilj, the Trilj Tourist Board, DVD Trilj and HGSS will be included in the Green Clean 2019 campaign as part of the global campaign “Let’s clean up Europe”, which will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 09:00 to 14:00.
The aim of this action is to raise awareness of the importance of personal care for the environment, with particular emphasis on water conservation, the richness of flora and fauna, and the long-term protection and preservation of the health of all inhabitants.
Volunteers will gather at 9:00 am at the Trilj town park where the action coordinator will reveal further instructions and the cleaning schedule by sectors – the Cetina river through Trilj, Grab river from the bridge to the Graba and Rude compound.
Gloves and bags will be provided to collect small waste, and for large trash, there will be containers and cans at multiple locations according to the cleaning schedule. All participants are required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring a handy tool if they have one.
All fellow citizens are invited to join the action and come together to make Trilj a beautiful and healthier place to live. The cleaning action is tailored to all age groups, and a meal is provided for all volunteers after the action is complete.
