Vrlika the New Hit Destination of Tomorrow – From Zero Overnights to 154 in August

After great results in Klis and Imotski, the Vrlika tourist board director Dijana Maras sent us their wonderful statistics for August.

As we reported, the effort of the young director in the last couple of months is paying of – from zero overnights in 2014 to 154 overnights (with 78 arrivals) this year. It may seem small and insignificant comparing to other destinations, but getting from no registered accommodation to 154 overnight in one month is pretty great. Most guests were from Croatia, Germany and Poland,

Dijana informs us, that they are expecting even better results next year as the Vrlika tourist board will continue with educational activities after the summer. “I believe there are more people interested in renting out accommodation for tourists officially in Vrlika, but they were waiting for this first season to bring results. We will do our best to educate them, help them and have them join us in offering a wider range of services to our potential guests.” says Ms. Maras.
