International Film Festival Marco Polo

INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL MARCO POLO

The Marco Polo International Film Festival is held in the town of Korčula during August, aiming to promote and support unique cinematography inspired by the path of the Silk Road. Because the Silk Road was not just a transportation link, but a cultural link between the east and west, the program features a selection of motion pictures, music and fine arts from countries associated with the famous road. With a goal in mind to showcase all recent experimental, radical and creative works of art related to the Silk the festival is also focused on excellence and artistic impression.

The festival is free and takes place in the heart of the historical old town, at Korčula’s open-air cinema.
