Day on the Islets

Though we know you’re already visiting the island of Korčula, did you know that the Korčula archipelago is made of up 20 or so smaller islands worth a visit as well?

Known to locals as ‘Škoji’, these islets are located on the eastern end of Korčula island near the town and the village of Lumbarda. The most popular islets in this archipelago are usually easily reachable by taxi boats during the summer, or if you choose to hire a private boat for the day, you could visit the more remote areas in the archipelago.

The most popular islands off of Korčula are Badija, Vrnik, and Stupe, while all the islets boast picturesque and pristine beaches ideal for swimming and water activities. Some of the islets have naturist beaches, wonderful seafood restaurants, vineyards, churches, quarries, and much more.
