On May 21st, from 9am-1pm, Strossmayer Park will be hosting a Day of Volunteer Work. Organized by the Volunteer Center Association “MI”, you will be able to support by contribution, or purchase the handicrafts of one of the many associations present at Strossmayer. Event is from 9am-1pm.
Exhibitors of this year’s event will be coming from the following associations, schools, and institutions: V. High School “Vladimir Nazor”, ANST 1700, COO “Juraj Bonači”, Multiple Sclerosis Society Split, DYXY, Music Nor Love, Help, Swallows, League Addiction Prevention, My Child Solin, Bridges, Section of Neuroscience, Heart, Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of the city of Split and Split-Dalmatia County, Association of Leukemia and Lymphoma Split, Association of Families with Four or More Children, the Association of Transplanted and Dialysis Kidney Patients SDŽ, Association for Down Syndrome-21 Split, Diabetic Society, School of Fine Arts, School of Design, Graphics and Sustainable Building, Community Meeting, and Fountain and Female Pupil’s Home.
Along with the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to see musical and theatrical performances by various artists, measure your blood pressure and blood sugar, and take photobooth photos with funny props! You may even decide to volunteer for one of these associations on your own!
