What better way to spend your summer nights than with live music?
One question I get asked more often than not in Split is: “Where can we listen to live music?”
Naturally, this answer varies, and is usually answered back with a question: “What kind of live music are you looking for? Jazz, acoustic, a full-blown concert?”
We are lucky in Split to have more than a few options for live music in the summer, ranging from all genres, styles and scenes. A particular favorite place of mine to find live music, however, is O’zlata.
I know that I have raved about O’zlata more than once this year, but can you blame me? This place is royalty!
Not only is O’zlata tucked away in an ancient alleyway in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace, the restaurant actually resides in the 15th Century Golden Gate courtyard of the palace.
For a setting that can’t be beaten and a gastro offering that has recognized O’zlata as one of the top establishments in Split, how can one go wrong when live music is thrown into the mix?
This summer, O’zlata kicked off their “Summer Night” series, streaming the sounds of jazz and acoustic music in Split’s favorite courtyard.
This week, O’zlata has two exceptional summer nights lined up, including a performance by the Split group Simplicity and Dora Derado.
On August 23, 2017, guests can join Simplicity at O’zlata for pop, rock, and evergreen tunes by the trio consisting of Juliana Vujević (vocalist), Antea Žure (vocalist), and Tonči Tranfić (keyboard). The music begins at 21:00 tonight.
Tomorrow night, August 24, 2017, feast your eyes and ears on Dora Derado who will set the stage for an acoustic performance of the 80s and 90s hits. The music will begin 21:00.
As O’zlata said best, what better way to feed your heart and soul than by music and food?
Stay tuned for weekly “Summer Night” events by O’zlata. You can find more information on their Facebook page.
