Here are some of the best health food stores in Split.
Bio & Bio: One of the larger health food stores in Split, Bio & Bio has 3 locations in the city (and a trusty online shop). Whether you’re in the Old Town, in Split 3, or at City Center One, a Bio & Bio will never be more than a few steps away. Here, you can find a variety of certified organic products, vegan and vegetarian foods, nutritional supplements, natural cosmetics, and even fresh sandwiches to enjoy on the go.
Refužo: Refužo has a whopping 5 locations in Split, including stores at Trstenik, Stari Plac, ex-Palagruža on Kralja Zvonimira, and on Vukovarska. This health food store carries over 100 types of medicinal plants and boasts the largest selection of honey. Refužo prides themselves on bio food, spices, food supplements, cereals, seeds, legumes, dried fruits, oils, nuts, and much more.
Zdravi Bili: Zdrav Bili is located just across from the Green Market at Radunica 5. While this store is much smaller than Bio & Bio and Refužo, there are a wide variety of products to choose from such as meat-free options including seitan and tofu, body care, nutrional supplements, and bio food. We also hear their prices for Omega supplements are the best in town!
Zdravi Dir: Located on Kralja Zvonimira 9, this health food shop is also just a short walk from the Green Market. Zdravi Dir is considered a mid-sized health food store that is family-owned and operated by a father and son. Here you can find a variety of both bulk and packaged foods including gluten-free flour, legumes, lentils, tofu, dried fruits, nuts, peanut butters, and even a small selection of freshly-baked vegan or sugar-free pastries (we hear the apple strudel is a real winner). There are also some natural cosmetics and body lotions for sale.
