After two months of shows, 18 bands from throughout the region, and 6 seperate nights hosted at Split Circus, tonight we have reached the finale for Inkubator. This evening brings us the three remaining bands, two of which will be finalists, the third as the third runner up. The bands left are Feredon from Dubrovnik, Pale Blue from Split, and Tvrtko Stijena from Kastela.
Feredon from Dubrovnik formed in 2012, and would consider themselves a new-grunge and power-funk quartet. The have recently released their studio album titled “Feredonia”, boasting 12 songs all recorded and produced by Robert Nappholz. The band’s entire album is also up for free download on their official website.
Feredon include:
Srđan Petrić – vocals / bass
Ivica Glunčić – drums
Tomislav Grković – guitar
Nikola Kapidžić – keyboards
Pale Blue hails from our wonderful city of Split, and has been in existence a little over 6 months. The members are mostly long-time friends who have collaborated musically in the past. Pale Blue are not fans of labeling themselves into a genre, but if we had to pick one, we’d say they are progressive, alternative, and indie rock. The band has performed at St@rt Festival and are bursting with confidence in their stage presence.
Pale Blue include:
Duje Kuzmic – vocals
Ante Jerončić – guitar / vocals
Bartol Vlahovic – keyboards
Josip Vlahovic – bass
Filip Barac – drums
Tvrtko Stijena are from Kastela and we’d like to consider them experienced guys who have been playing together since 2009. Last year they were the winners at ST@rt Festival, including appearances at O’Hara and Kastela Rock evenings.
Tvrtko Stijena include:
Christian – guitar
David – drums
Ante – midi keyboards
Ivan – bass
The Inkubator Finale will be held at 11pm tonight at O’Hara Music Club, located on Uvala Zenta 3. Sponsors are O’Hara, Split Circus and Street Pulse. See you there!
