October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Radisson Blu Resort in Split has chosen to show their dedicated support in the most unique way: pink hotel rooms.

One of the Deluxe hotel rooms at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Split has been decorated with pink details. Guests can see this room on the hotel’s website by searching for “Pink Room” and proceed to booking as they wish.

A portion of the proceeds from the pink rooms will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, namely the Croatian breast cancer association “Donna Croatia”. Europa Donna is an independent and non-profit organization whose members are groups and affiliates from 47 countries from Europe and the World. Europa Donna Croatia (EDH) is part of that coalition and thus the umbrella organization in Croatia, whose objectives include the promotion of education, early cancer diagnosis, optimal treatment, medical and psychosocial rehabilitation, palliative care and an increase in funding for research into the disease.

In addition to pink rooms, the hotel has collaborated with nutritionists and introduced special menus, as well as a “Be Pink” breakfast concept in which guests are served dishes with ingredients that have been linked to the prevention of cancer.
