The summer is over – and since we’re not worried about showing off in our swimsuits any longer, we can make room for a week full of eating.
There are plenty of perks to the offseason in Split. One is the cooler weather. Two is that the city is far less crowded than the busy peak season months. And three? You can still enjoy all the joys the summer has to offer, and some – such as promotional menus at your favorite restaurants around town.
Restaurant Week returns to Croatia from October 5 to 14, giving locals and tourists in the city a chance to try unique three-course menus at inviting prices – and the offer is good for either lunch or dinner.
“Restaurant Week is a promotional action to promote the gastronomic scene of Croatia in cooperation with catering establishments. Restaurants participating in the event welcome guests through special promotional offers. The concept of this action was made in line with the world’s metropolises and has been adapted to the Croatian market. It is held twice a year,” explains Restaurant Week on their official website.
This October, gourmands will enjoy the 17th edition of the event.
Nine restaurants have chosen to participants in this autumn’s edition of the event in Split, including Augubio Congo, Bajamonti, From Mar at Hotel Marvie, DeBelly, Jure, Mala Kavana, Para di Šoto, Split 1921, and Tusculum in Solin.
While some of the restaurants have chosen to include both a lunch and dinner offer, others have opted to include an additional gluten-free menu for their guests.
