Split Becomes Richer this Week with New, Modern Cornaro Hotel

The Dalmatian capital of Split will be further enriched from Thursday by a “new” hotel.

The exclusive Cornaro brand will open its doors in the heart of Dalmatia on Thursday after an extension to their accommodation capacity for elite tourism. The ambitious plan set forth to cover the lack of exclusive tourist facilities on offer within hotel services in Split, reports HRTurizam on March 14, 2017.

“A unique blend of traditional and modern, combined with a passion for complete service, creates a truly exceptional experience for your stay. The excellent location in the center of the ancient city, with elegant interiors that have been complemented by the latest hotel trends, combined with our outstanding staff – this is the exclusive Cornaro brand,” says director Ivana Klaric, who added that the city of Split is already attractive for its exceptional beauty, Mediterranean climate, friendly people and rich traditions. The hotel design was crafted by the team of architects from studio Šverko & Šverko, who were tasked with keeping the historical values within the modern comfort of today.

The hotel will open with 142 rooms, 4 suites and 1 premium suite, all offering outstanding comfort and an enchanting atmosphere in the city center for both tourists and business guests. 

“Our mission is to be and remain recognized for superior service which we have so far succeeded in. We will continue to respect and improve the set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) of each department as the basis of work, and we will continue to implement the education of our staff. In the hotel, each employee knows exactly their job and the best way to take care of each customer in every department. We are working on educating the staff ‘in house’ and are working with external educators in an effort to train our staff to accept new lifestyles, trends and attitudes in life and in business to ensure we can find something for everyone – something that will complement their stay, something they will remember, and something that will motivate them to come back. The priority is to adapt to each customer individually and provide them with maximum attention,” concluded Klaric. The target group of guests for the Cornaro Hotel is individual guests with high purchasing power, guests of leisure, and conference and business guests.

The opening ceremony of the “new” hotel will be held on March 16 with some big names from the Croatian music scene. The opening ceremony will be held within Porin music week.
