Tonight in Split opens an exhibition by Stephan Lupino, exposing a series of nudes, portraits and photos of his sculptures.
As part of the art program for the 62nd Split Summer Festival, and in collaboration with Photoclub Split, the Gallery of Photographs on Marmontova street will host an exhibition by Stephan Lupino, one of the most respected and internationally renowned Croatian photographers. The exhibition will open this evening, July 29 at 20h.
The artist, who from the very beginning has chosen shock to the doctrine which decrypts the world we live in, exposes a series of nudes, portraits and photos of his sculptures depicting life, at least from Lupino’s own perspective. One of his series shows seemingly unrelated episodes with a man as the main character, a character with a thousand faces (and bodies), each of them shown in their own provocative way.
His works, although controversial, are eye opening – depicting everything from supermodels to terminally ill children, and mostly everything in between.
The Stephan Lupino exhibition will be open until August 17.
