If you feel like having a night out
DISCO by Sola at Judino Drvo – 23:00: Another Friday night at Judino Drvo with resident DJ Sola. A wide array of good music awaits, so get those dancing shoes on! Entrance is free until 01:00 after it is 30 HRK.
Dobra Šema at Quasimodo – 23:00: Dobra Šema returns to Quasimodo in a different dress. This time, the club welcomes Kiki Belucci, a member of the yem collective for the DJ’s first appearance in Split. Kiki is a new name in the DJ world, but behind her are resident programs in Zagreb including ”Oš, neš, treš”, “Žene gazele” and ”Dobra šema”.

DOM LOUD w/ Tino Simich, Zeko & Tino, DJ Likson at Kocka – 23:00: Dom Loud #4 is here! With the new season, new DJs on the scene have also arrived. For the first season of Dom Loud, Kocka prepared only the finest for those looking for a wide range of house and techno music. For those who have never heard of these boys before, the best way to check them out is to come to the party and support the dance!

Asti Miša at Info Zona – All Day: For the exhibition cycle of the younger generation, in October, Info Zona will host the exhibition Asti Miša! by Zrinka Ružičić. The young academic sculptor has found inspiration in mice, and this is her third solo exhibition. The exhibition will be open at Šperun (Jerina 1) until November 3, 2017.
Afrika Goran Jović at Ethnographic Museum: Jović photographs dominate the permeation of darkness and gaze. As a photographer, his pictures of male, female and children’s portraits are masterpieces in black or white.
Frane Šitum ‘Arms for Peace’ at Diocletian’s Cellar – All Day: After completing high school, Šitum attended the Academy of Art of the University in Split where he graduated in 2010 as a master of sculpture in the class of prof. Kuzme Kovačića. So far, he has made six independent sculpture exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions. He is the author of four public sculptures, several plaques and prizes, and the designs of the original appearance of Diocletian’s palace, whose bronze model was placed next to the new tourist palace in Split. He was awarded the first prize for the “Artistic Solution of Gaj Bulata Square” (square in front of the Croatian National Theater) by the team of authors; Đani Martinić, Frane Šitum, and Damir Vujčić. He is also a member of HULU Split.

Rhinoceros at HNK – 20:00: “Nightmare of endured war reality becomes the backbone of this play in which a mysterious infection slowly turns people into rhinoceros. Metamorphosis connecting totalitarian linguistic discourse and primal human animalism becomes thus a powerful image of lost humanity in the invading tide of madness and as such a welcome theatre vaccine against all forms of collective contagions,” writes HNK.
Oktoberfest at Pivariju Pecado: Pecado moves to Munich this weekend for Oktoberfest! Try six new beers including Augustiner, Paulaner, Hackerr Pschorr, Lowenbrau, Spaten, Hoff Brau who produce a special beer in limited quantities for the occasion.

Diktatori at Zenta – 23:00: For personal reasons, Marijan Ban’s concert that was supposed to be held this Saturday has been moved to Saturday, December 23, 2017. This Saturday, Ban’s legendary backup group will take the stage – Diktatori!
Sebo K / Berlin at Judino Drvo – 23:00: SEBO K is a unique and influential phenomenon of the fertile Berlin musical community. He is considered a person who is determined and strongly influenced by the current music trends in Europe. The DJ joins the classic sounds of Chicago and Detriot with Deep house, techno and percussion groove. Tickets are 60 HRK.

The Society of Croatian Writers in Split, in cooperation with the City Library Marko Marulić, invites citizens to donate books to the City Library of Vukovar. The books will be presented during the Memorial Day of the Victims of Victims the November. The collection will take place from October 15 to November 10, 2017, in the GKMM libraries: Central Library, Bol-Plokite, Brodarica, Spinut, Trstenik, Ravne Njive, Meje, Žrnovnica and Podstrana.
