But don’t worry, these are just for storage.
The first temporary objects have started arriving at the new Žnjan beach, reports Dalmacija Danas on June 8, 2018.
As explained by Ante Šunjić, director of Spalatum DMC who leads the construction project at Žnjan, the works are even ahead of schedule, and the time limits will not be disturbed by the announced thunderstorms this weekend.
“The first objects to arrive are the storage modules, which will be followed by the sanitary modules and eventually the ones for catering. We have come to the final stage of construction works,” said the satisfied director.
It’s important to add that Split’s catering houses are indeed almost finished and will probably be up by the end of June at the planned eight locations, and possibly earlier.
“After these modules, modules will be arriving on a daily basis, according to the dynamics and plan of Žnjan’s temporary arrangement. I can say that everything will be done before June 30th. We’ve started to bring out the terraces. So after these modules arrived, two more hospitality modules should be added,” added Šunjić.
But remember – the catering objects on Žnjan will NOT look like the modules you can see at the beach now.
“To make sure you aren’t confused about what arrived, these modules are only for storage, and the catering objects will look different and will be up to 12 square meters in size,” concluded the director of Spalatum DMC.
