June the 22nd, 2023 – The Hot Wheels Rimac Nevera model has sold out quickly thanks to the sheer popularity of this Croatian entrepreneur’s hypercar.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Hot Wheels Rimac Nevera model, developed by Mattel, was recently available in the colour Riviera Blue, writes Auto Portal. The miniature Nevera is a recreation of the revolutionary all-electric 1,914 hp hypercar made by Mate Rimac.

Cult status

Introduced by American toy manufacturer Mattel back in 1968, the Hot Wheels brand has become well known across the world and earned cult status in the automotive world, both among young car enthusiasts and serious collectors. Now in its 55th year of existence, Hot Wheels model cars are the number one selling toys in the entire world with approximately 16.5 models sold somewhere every single second.

Rimac’s stunning Nevera joins the Hot Wheels collection

The gorgeous Rimac Nevera is now one of the last participants in this rich tradition upheld continuously by Hot Wheels. The car’s sculpted lines and carefully balanced aerodynamic design – the work of Adrian Mudri and his team – have been delicately miniaturised by 3D modeller, Manson Cheung. Best known for his sculptural work, Cheung has been with Mattel since way back in the year 2000, responsible for reducing some of the most legendary works of automotive design down to model size.

As stated above, the very limited collection of the tiny Hot Wheels Rimac Nevera model was sold out immediately.
