While the announcements for new services for this year’s summer schedule are still coming in, low-cost airline Eurowings from Germany has already announced its winter timetable for 2017/2018. Starting October 31, 2017, a completely new Zagreb – Düsseldorf service will be launched, with two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In the ‘90s, this route used to be operated by Croatia Airlines, with three flights a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
This is not the only good news Eurowings has for Croatia – new winter routes to Split will be introduced as well. For the first time ever, Split – Düsseldorf route will operate throughout winter, with 2 services per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
In addition to last year’s two winter routes from Split to Cologne / Bonn, on Tuesdays and Sundays, a third, Thursday service will also be added. The capacity of the service (i.e. the size of the aircraft) will increase as well.
Another new service to be introduced is Split – Munich. It will become operational by the end of April 2017, with two planes per week, every Monday and Thursday, which will continue flying throughout winter.
