She won one of the Grammys for her performance featured on the soundtrack of George Clooney’s film ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’. Reeves holds other numerous awards, including an honourary PhD title granted to her by the renowned Berklee College of Music, and the Ella Fitzgerald Award granted by the international jazz festival in Montreal. In 1987, she became the first woman singer to sign with Blue Note record company, starting a collaboration that has lasted to this day.

Reevs is known as a versatile musician who’s able to deliver powerful performances in jazz, gospel, soul, R&B, latin-jazz and pop, often adopting elements of African, Brazilian and Caribbean music.
